Application and Configuration:
Belt-end sampling system refers to the system in which a primary sampler is mounted at the end of belt conveyor and collects samples from material flow at the end of belt conveyor.
This picture shows a typical belt-end sampling system that consists of belt-end mounted primary sampler in rotary or reciprocal type, sample feeder, crusher, divider and sample collector.
Operation Procedure:
This system is able to realize the timed and quantified sampling control through the operation process below:
Sample is taken from material flow falling from the end of conveyor and enters the sample feeder through chutes. And then, the feeder sends it to crusher continually and evenly, in which it is crusher according to the required granularity. The crushed sample is then divided in the secondary sampler for the second time. The final sample enters the collector and the remaining material in the system comes back to the material stream.
