Application and Configuration:
Belt-end sampling system refers to the system in which a primary sampler is mounted in the middle of belt conveyor and collects samples from material flow at the end of belt conveyor.
This picture shows a typical mid-belt sampling system that consists of mid-sampler in rotary type, primary sample feeder, hammer crusher, sub-feeder, secondary sampler and remaining material handling equipment.
Function and Operation:
This system is designed to achieve timed and quantified sampling control through the operation process below:
The sample goes through a conveying tube into the sample feeder which in turn sends the sample evenly and constantly into the crusher. The sample is crushed in the crusher according to the required granularity. The crushed sample is then sent to the secondary feeder and divided in the secondary sampler for the second time. The final sample enters the collector and the remaining material in the system is sent back into the material stream by bucket elevator or screw conveyor.
Features and Advantages
PLC control is incorporated for high degree of automation and reliable operation.
Compact system design is adopted to save installation space.
Modular structure is used for easy onsite system configuration and installation.
Elaborate system design and component/material selection ensures block-free and spill-free operation.
